Boiled Chickpeas (1/2 cup)

Yogurt (1/4 cup)

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1 tbsp)

Pine Nuts (1 tbsp)

Tahini Sauce (1 tbsp)

Saffron Powder (1 tsp)

Chives (1 tsp)
Instructions:

Heat the boiled chickpeas on the stove’s High heat setting for 2 minutes.

Pour into a bowl.

Cut the pita bread into small square slices.

Place it on top of the chickpeas.

Mix it slightly.
Instructions:

Mix the tahini sauce, yogurt, lemon juice, and salt to create a sauce.

Pour the sauce on top of the sliced pita bread and chickpeas base.

Pour olive oil onto a skillet.

Roast the pine nuts until golden on the stove’s High heat setting for 1 minute.
Instructions:

Drizzle olive oil and the roasted pine nuts on top of the yogurt sauce.

Sprinkle with saffron powder and chives.
Chickpea Fatteh completed!
Ready to be served – it’s good to be eaten immediately. Don’t store leftovers, it will get soggy.
